The Alpha Ring is a ring-shaped grouping of Acrean islands where all of the worlds in the initial release, including the three Division Worlds, will be located. The Alpha Ring has the most advanced technology of the known island groups. The Alliance of Acrea also has its greatest presence here. The nearest other island group to the Alpha Ring is the Dragon Formation.

The Jetstream Archipelago is not considered to be within the Alpha Ring because of its distance, however it is closer to the Alpha Ring than any other grouping. Though it is one world, it can be considered to be a miniature island grouping. The Archipelago is located between the Alpha Ring and the Dragon Formation.
